PIN Code Pioneer — Recruitment Criteria

Every PIN Code Pioneer is appointed, not self-selected. Read the criteria carefully. Filling this form does not make you a PIN Code Pioneer — your appointment is confirmed only after receiving the official IMC appointment letter.

Must Have

  • Resident in the PIN code they serve (non-negotiable)
  • Age 21–65
  • Minimum 10th standard education
  • Smartphone access
  • Available minimum 20 hours per month
  • Known by at least 50 people in the community
  • Clean record — no criminal history, no active communal organisation membership
  • Recommended by minimum two existing IMC members

Preferred

  • College educated
  • Professional or trade background
  • Previous volunteer experience
  • Fluency in regional language + Hindi or English
  • Prior interaction with local government (panchayat, municipal bodies)

Automatic Disqualification

  • Active political party worker at any level
  • Office-bearer of any religious institution management committee
  • Financial relationship with local contractors or government tenders
  • History of communal activism (any direction)
